It includes a sunrise visit to Lempuyang Temple, followed by stops at Tirta Gangga (the Water Palace), Tukad Cepung Waterfall, Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and the famous Bali Swing.
It’s important to note that this tour covers a significant distance – around 195km round trip. For a more leisurely pace, consider the other Lempuyang Sunrise Tour or other personalized day tours.
Is this a private tour?
Yes, all our tours are conducted with a private car and driver. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They will text me when they pick you up and again when you are dropped off at the end of the day. I will also email you the driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo, and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and confidence.

Attractions:
Lempuyang Temple
Watching the sunrise over Lempuyang Temple is often the highlight of any trip to Bali.
Tirta Gangga – The Water Palace
Tirta Gangga is one of my favorite Balinese temples, uniquely designed, with surrounding roads offering views of beautiful valleys and rice fields. This former royal palace of the Kingdom of Karangasem was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangasem and restored after being almost completely destroyed by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963. One unique feature is the stepping stones across the fish pond, perfect for spectacular photos.
Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Tukad Cepung is unique among Bali’s waterfalls, formed by water running down cliffs rather than into rivers or streams. To see it, you need to walk down stairs and approach from the bottom, offering an amazing view of the waterfall with the skyline in the background. Though relatively unknown until recently, it has become a popular spot thanks to Instagram, attracting more visitors who come for the stunning view and unique sunlight effects.
Tegallalang Rice Terraces
The Tegallalang Rice Terraces are among the most accessible and beautiful in Bali. Lining the main road in the village of Tegallalang are hillside cafes where you can relax, try local Luwak coffee, and get Instagram-worthy photos. If you’re adventurous and physically fit, you can descend the steep incline and walk through the valley to the other side, though it can be tough going, especially when wet. The slopes can be slippery and are responsible for many sprained ankles, so wear appropriate footwear and be cautious.
