Location Guide to Safe ATMs in Seminyak

Finding ATMs in Seminyak can be quite a challenge, as major banks have limited presence in the top tourist areas, including Jalan Seminyak (the main shopping road with the popular Bintang Supermarket), Jalan Kayu Aya (known as Eat Street), and Petitenget (home to great restaurants). Surprisingly, Google Maps often fails to accurately show ATM locations in Bali.

Fortunately, there are plenty of ATMs around, so it’s essential to plan for an ATM stop during your day. Here’s a useful guide to the ATMs I trust and have used frequently. Don’t forget to check out my tips on safely using ATMs in Bali and exchanging cash at money changers.

Safe ATMs in Seminyak

While there have been reports of skimming attacks on ATMs in Seminyak, the following locations have proven to be reliable, with nearby security and less tourist congestion.

  • BNI Bank, Kerobokan:
This branch is not listed on Google Maps. It’s located opposite the gas station just before the turn-off for Jalan Petitenget. Note that this is a new branch, not the ATM next to the gas station across the road.
  • Permata Bank, Kerobokan:
    Located on Jalan Kerobokan.
  • ATM beside Pepito Market in Petitenget:
This standalone ATM is attached to Pepito Supermarket, which provides 24-hour security in a well-lit area with parking available.
  • ATM beside Biku Restaurant:
There’s a convenient Maybank ATM outside Biku (one of my Top 5 Bali Restaurants) that dispenses Rp 100k notes, close to Potato Head and Woobar.
  • ATM near Mexicola:
A new Mandiri ATM is situated just down the road from Mexicola, right next to Vin+ Wine Bar, dispensing Rp 100k notes.
  • BNI ATM on Jalan Legian:
This BNI ATM on Jalan Legian dispenses Rp 100k notes and is located near a Mandiri Bank ATM that dispenses Rp 50k notes.
  • Mandiri Bank ATMs on Jalan Seminyak:
These ATMs are found in the enclosed foyer of Mandiri Bank, just down from the intersection of Jalan Seminyak and Nakula, open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM.
