After navigating a rough road, you’ll find a small warung (local stall) where a donation of 10,000 IDR (about $1.00 AUD) is requested to access the path to the waterfall. This fee helps maintain the area, and although the staff may not speak much English, they’ll assist if you need directions.
There’s a small parking area with a footpath leading to the waterfall, and your driver will know exactly where to go, so you won’t have to worry about getting lost.
Hiking to Yeh Hoo Waterfall
The hike to Yeh Hoo Waterfall is short and easy, taking about 4-5 minutes from the parking lot. While you don’t need special gear, be prepared for a bit of a workout on the way back up! The path features some dirt areas, which can be slippery when wet, so caution is advised. As you walk, the sound of cascading water will guide you to the waterfall.
Yeh Hoo Waterfall may not be the tallest in Bali, but it’s usually uncrowded, making it perfect for enjoying a refreshing swim on a hot day. There’s a small shelter at the base for your belongings, or you can leave them with your driver.
